Milo Yiannopoulos Deported to Britain After ICE Arrest in Louisiana
U.S. immigration authorities deported British right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos one day after arresting him at a Louisiana airport.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported British national Milo Yiannopoulos to the United Kingdom on August 28, the Department of Homeland Security said.
Yiannopoulos, 41, had been arrested a day earlier at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, Louisiana. A DHS spokesperson said ICE detained him at the airport before returning him to his home country.
According to the department, Yiannopoulos entered the United States legally through New York City in 2019. An immigration judge issued a final removal order against him on July 22, 2026.
DHS described Yiannopoulos as an undocumented immigrant at the time of his arrest. The department said the Trump administration had reversed a Biden-era approach that allowed people without legal status to travel on domestic flights and that such travelers would no longer be permitted to fly unless leaving the country to self-deport.
The deportation followed immediately after the airport arrest, with the government confirming his return to Britain on Friday. The agency did not provide further details about the proceedings that led to the July removal order.
